Somehow most girl do think that marriage is as if buying an assurance to them. An assurance that their other half will always be there, and that they'd have a bright future together hand in hand.
But what they couldn't see was that the boys don't think that way.. Most boys I questioned , think that marriage is just a girls way of tying them down or most think that its just another piece of paper and could be re-writable over and over again. It sometimes really saddens me that in my generation, there isn't anymore such as " I stayed by her side not because I had to, it was because I want to. And I would never want to leave her at the point where she need me badly " or " since I choose to be with you, I'll stick with my choice "
My generation mostly get marriage because there's a kid incoming, or was force by parents due to their age ... It's so rare to see people getting marriage because they really wanted to spend their entire life ; building their future hand in hand. I always thought that when I grew up, I'd marry young ( definitely not shot-gun ) with someone I loved.
Then as I grew older, I realise guys tend to push marriage away and said things like " it's too early to judge" or , " we haven't been long together hence there's no point imagining a future or talking about marriage " .OUCH.
But some guys seemly is more than ever desperate to settle young. Okay I'm so desperate , but what? Girls need to think for themselves sometimes , don't they ?
BUT... Perhaps marriage was never for me I guess... Because I want to know that the person I could marry was someone who would climb the mountain and go through oceans with me. So,
who the heck am I kidding. The person would never exist, even they do, I wasn't even their ideal choice of marriage.
