Dear diary,
I was chatting with my friends this afternoon bout how fortunate kids are. Since i was touching on the topic bout my favorite soft-toy. We gradually further the topic to bout the kids now.
Gosh, do they ever know how fortunate they really are? Sometimes, i really think they take thing for granted. For etc : Last time we used to play
GAME-BOY COLOR ( seriously, that's really old )

That was my first electronic device, and at the point of time having one was like "typical rich kid". My brother gave me his for my birthday. Hehehe :P
FIVE STONES

My mom taught me this game, i still sucks at it, but its fun :D
Hopscotch
Hopscotch

Awww, this one has the fondest memories of all. Those games shan and i used to play when we're
in primary school. We place our wallet at number 1 , then make our way jumping to number 10. THOSE FOND MEMORIES. Gosh, i miss those primary school days.
"Automobile" for the toddlers

In the past, when we own a handphone. I was talking bout the nokia black and white handphone.
In case you don't know. There's photo below showing you

Now, I'm proudly to say i'm a apple die-hard user. Yes, iphone4 user. Sadly to say, i have to charge my phone ( if i use it like every 5 minutes constantly ) every consecutive 6 hours. Gosh, i hate this. And yea i use my phone every minutes, replying my whatsapp , sms , tweets, facebook. Sometimes i think i'm a technology slave.
When my iphone hangs, or it just lock by itself. I went berserk, literally and mentally berserk. Thats why they say, 3 months with your iphone4. Your iphone4 is everything.
Not to drag away the topic of how younger generation has been greatly deprive of the fond memories.
I asked my 5 year old cousin the other day.
Me : " Hey, lets play 5 stone want? "
Cousin : " yay!!! how to play? i go the grass pick 5 stones for you ? "
And i couldn't help bursting into laughter. However if i ask him if he wanna play my iphone, you should capture his expression. Its priceless. His smile can shine your day up. He bugs to me because i have an iphone and itouch. During reunion dinner, he couldn't resist not coming up to me and borrow my device to play. How adorable.
And i can tell you that he has a handphone, gosh its not a $38 dollar handphone okay! its a touch screen handphone! I guess if i tell them bout "Pager" , they would gimme the blank stare.
Now kids doesn't know whats gameboy color, in fact they only thing they know as nitendo , psp, xbox, wii. Damn, when i was a kid, the only place i frequently hang out was the PAP Library. I guess once a bookworm, always will be ? I still frequently visits the library.
& Whenever i tell my friend i do visit national library, everyone actually cracks up. Is it really funny? * frowns *
Anyway, in conclusion i think younger generation has been expose to too much technology. Causing them not to really appreciate the real good things around us. Now , if you let them deprive of their PC games, iphone4 games they'd cry and whine like a bitch. Back then, you don't fucking get to whine. ( Obviously, because these in-tech games doesn't exisited ) . We enjoyed those fond memories of hopscotch , going to friend house pretending to be studying.
Because of what i was expose , i grew up learning to appreciate things. Honestly, i don't think i will ever let my own kid be expose to technology. Yes i making them deprive of technology. I think thats for a good cause. I'll talk bout the pro and cons soon.
Till then, xoxo
